This house started off white and in Very Bad shape. Most every surface had to be brought back to the original wood before it could be primed. The oil-based primer was tinted before the top coat was applied.I used Benjamin Moore's Aura for the top coat.Colors are Rockport Gray and Gloucester Sage.

Before and After
This is a home on Andrews Point in Rockport which is now done. See how the wood has been restored from the old weathered gray (dead wood fibers) to the new vibrant western red cedar. I use wood restorer and a pressure washer before applying an oil based wood preservative.
This is the back side of Tuck's Candy Store on Main Street. I place it here to show the extent that I go to correctly prep by sanding and priming with oil-based primer, before painting with the top coat.

This little house is located at 61 Granite Street in Rockport. It was brought down to the bare wood on most of it before priming and painting.
